In WordPress we can easily use as many subdomains as we want, just for this we need to add a subdomain to the hosting panel, But if we talk about blogger blog, the method is a bit different, for that you just have to follow the step below.

If you continue to follow the method given below, then you will definitely learn how to use a subdomain in your blog. Just as we add custom domains to Blogger, we will use the subdomain in Blogger as well.

Step 1:

First of all, visit the site and go to Settings> Basic Options.

  1. Now click on + Setup a 3rd party URL for your blog option.

2. Now there will be an error and you will have 2 CName records in front of you.

Step 3:

Now you have to add these 2 CNAME records to your domain DNS settings. For this, visit the site from which you have taken the domain and login with your login details. I am telling you the steps of the GoDaddy here.

open your domain management settings page in case of GoDaddy click on Manage domain option and start adding those two DNS records.

  1. Select CNAME in Type field.
  2. Add subdomain in Host field e.g ask, demo etc.
  3. Add in Points to field.
  4. Select Custom in TTL field.
  5. Finally, click on Save.

Step 4:

Now domain settings will be confirmed after some time. Now again navigate to, Settings >> Basic >> Publishing.

  1. Untick the Redirect option.
  2. Click on Save.

Congratulations! Sub-domain has been added to your blog. Now after some time, you can open your blog from the subdomain. Sometimes DNS record update may take 24 to 48 hours so keep patient and wait for DNS update.

So in this way you can add a sub-domain to a blogger blog. If you have any problem in this process, you can tell us via comment box.
